Early Intervention Centre
Early Intervention Centre
In 2024, Mathru started early intervention centre dedicated to children with special needs between the age group of 3-6 years. Special attention given to children at this age helps in improving developmental outcomes from early stages. This project runs in parallel to Mathru learning centre for special children.
Each child undergoes regular assessments, and therapy plans are developed by our team of special educators, speech, and physiotherapists. In addition to academics, centre provides non-classroom activities that include daily living skills, receptive and express skills, mobility, sensory activities, basic pre- vocational skills, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, outing/recreation, Yoga, meditation, bhajans and dance.
Parental involvement is actively encouraged, with counselling and guidance to support children at home and in society. Social readiness is built through community outings, group activities, and celebrations. Programs are personalized and evolve with each child’s progress and individual needs.
Success Story
Harishini
Remarkable Progress
Harishini
Remarkable Progress
With consistent therapy, early intervention, and personalized care, Harishini has made extraordinary progress. Today, she is able to walk independently, use the restroom on her own, and eat without assistance. Her fine motor skills have significantly improved—she can now join dots and participate in structured activities.
Her speech has also shown notable development. One of her proudest moments is greeting guests with a warm smile. From needing full support to now thriving in our pre-primary class, Harishini's journey is a beautiful example of the transformation that is possible with the right care and environment. Her parents are overjoyed with her achievements, and we are proud to be a part of her incredible growth.
