Mathru Resource Centre for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder:

In 2025, Mathru established an exclusive centre for children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), catering to individuals aged 3 to 25 years.

The centre provides comprehensive services, including pre-vocational skill training, occupational therapy, speech therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and individualized educational support. Special emphasis is placed on developing socialization skills, communication abilities, academic learning, and digital literacy.

The centre also facilitates assistance in obtaining UDID (Unique Disability ID) cards and offers regular parent counselling and guidance sessions. Children are encouraged to participate in sports, cultural activities, and community-based programs to promote overall development and inclusion.

A key focus of the centre is preparing children for school readiness, helping them develop the essential cognitive, behavioural, communication, and social skills required for successful integration into educational settings.

Through a holistic and child-centred approach, the ASD Centre strives to empower children with autism to achieve greater independence, confidence, and quality of life.
